Delete your account
SwiftCater, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This page applies to the SwiftCater app on iOS, Android and the web.
In the app (about ten seconds)
- Sign in and tap the account icon at the top right.
- Choose Delete my account.
- Confirm. You are signed out everywhere and the account is removed immediately.
By email
If you cannot sign in, email owner@swiftcater.ca from the address on the account. Deletion is completed within 7 days and confirmed by reply.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in and every active session
- Your customer, driver or staff profile: name, phone, vehicle details, preferences
- Your link to any restaurant you managed; the restaurant is unpublished and detached
What is kept, and why
- Order and payout records are kept for six years because Canadian tax law (Excise Tax Act) and Saskatchewan PST rules require it. Your name, email and phone are removed from them so they no longer identify you.
- Payment records held by Stripe, our payment processor, are governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
